What Makes Our School Unique?

Goodlettsville Middle School is unique because of a rich heritage and history, strong community spirit and a promising future. Five generations of students have passed through our halls. Many community leaders and current faculty members graduated from our school before it became a middle school in 1986. It is not unusual for our alumni to stop by to take pictures, make donations, or just walk the halls to reminisce about their “glory” days.
Goodlettsville Middle School offers a gamut of opportunities for its students and their families. Our academic programs include four optional high school courses in which our students may earn high school credit while attending middle school. We offer a Middle School Years Program for grades five through eight. This Pre-International Baccalaurate program is a rigorous academic curriculum which serves as an apprenticeship for the high school IB program. Every student is valued and their educational pathway is programmed to insure that they are given every opportunity to achieve their academic success.
We look forward to working with you and your child. We enlist your support as we endeavor to make Goodlettsville Middle School a school where every student achieves.
