Arabic - Chinese - French - Scottish Gaelic - German - Spanish

Dates are June 16-20 & 23-27, 2008      For children - teens - adults

Learning language is so easy even babies do it.   Playing games and telling stories are natural ways to pick up a language - at any age.  Add instruction geared to each student's learning level and speaking a second language soon becomes second nature. Take classes to boost academic performance or to prepare for travel abroad - or just for the thrill of learning to hear, speak, write, think and play in a different language. Learn more and register at http://www.usn.org/click on 2008 Summer Programs.

Registration for Summer Arts & Music Camps

Nashville's Schools need YOUR voice!

The success of our public schools affects every aspect of our community: economic growth, property values, workforce quality, crime rate, and the ability to attract and retain families. Over the last five years, we have seen important academic progress and an increase in our graduation rate.  However, each year, an increasingly tight education budget and the constant threat of cuts put these gains at risk. Our local, state, and federal elected officials need to hear from everyday citizens about the importance of education.  If you would like to learn more about what you can do to support education, go to www.stand.org/friendsofmetroschools.

WHERE TO MAIL YOUR INVEST CONTRIBUTIONS

Make out your check to the MLK PTSA, indicate "Invest" in the "For" line, and mail your check to:

The Invest in Your Child Campaign, MLK PTSA, 613 17th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203
