The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

PLANNING FACILITATOR

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or related field. Master’s preferred; Three to five years experience with extensive involvement in the schools improvement planning process; Experience at multiple schools is desirable; Experience and proficiency in retrieving and analyzing data is required; Strong oral and communication skills are a must.

DUTIES: Assists assigned schools with School Improvement Planning and on-going monitoring and intervention; Serves as an advisor to school SIP teams; Ensures that assigned schools meet planning deadlines or advises management of the reasons that deadlines will be missed; Trains school SIP teams on the planning process and in the use of data; Consults with assigned principals on the role of the SIP to ensure they understand the protocol for requesting assistance; Consults with grade level teams or individual teachers on the use of data to develop SIP related strategies; Other duties as assigned.

GRADE/SALARY Certificated 12 month
