MLK students have volunteered their time at various places. Some of these organizations are listed below. Please contact the volunteer coordinator if you are interested in volunteering.
FRIST Center for the Visual Arts
Volunteering at the Frist Center is a great way to meet new people and assist our many visitors. We currently have over 400 volunteers who provide more than 24,000 hours of service each year. Volunteers assist visitors and staff in a wide variety of areas throughout the Center. You don’t have to be an art expert to volunteer at the Frist Center, you just need to enjoy art, be knowledgeable about the Frist Center and have a desire to help others!
For more information about volunteer opportunities at the Frist Center contact:
Andrew Peterson, Volunteer Services Manager at 615-744-3349 or volunteer@fristcenter.org
Nashville Youth PULSE
PULSE (People United Leading and Serving Everywhere) promotes youth leadership, service learning, and civic action at both the neighborhood and citywide level through ongoing youth action projects. This is accomplished through citywide youth service learning events and the PULSE Leadership Team (PLT). The PLT is a group of high school aged volunteers who serve as advisors and organizers for PULSE as whole.
