Students, there is no summer packet this year (so far). However, you should be able to solve problems like the ones below. If you have trouble doing so, contact me or practice more like them.

1) 1/x + 1/y = 1/z solve for z in terms of x and y
2) mgh + 0.5mv2 = 0.5kx2 solve for v
3) Know what SohCahToa means and be able to solve for lengths and angles of right triangles.
4) Convert 25 kilometers per hour (km/h) to meters per second (m/s)
5) Know the three fundamental physical quantities and their SI units.
6) Know the difference between scalars and vectors.
7) Know the difference between velocity and acceleration. |
